if i had my way, i would fly all my friends from singapore over so i could share this experience with them! yes you and you and you! you guys are still in my thoughts even as i'm settling well here.
i told you this week would be good, and it did turn out great (:
the only thing that didn't materialise was my shopping plans with 2 other girls, but it's just been postponed. which is why i now have time to blog cos i don't have to rush my work anymore haha. thursday was an especially good day. i had lunch at this really nice thai restaurant with a some other commerce students. later i met rach for dinner, and after her apartment's lift gave us so much problems i headed to my cell friend's place to join them for a bit after they had dinner.
on friday, karen and melissa came for ocf :)) and the sermon was so meaningful. this was the main point that really struck me-- sometimes in the course of pursuing our dreams, even though they may be promises from God, our focus sometimes unconsciously turns from God to the things. as in we think that after we obtain those things, we will give God the glory. but it should be that we seek to give God the glory throughout the entire process. that message served as a confirmation of what God had been revealing to me, and i just felt so at peace (: i knew for sure that that was what God had been teaching me the past 2 weeks in that area. to let go.. and let God take control.
